Arkema sets up its new headquarters in Paris La Défense

Arkema is establishing its new headquarters in the heart of La Défense, Europe’s largest business district—an ideal setting to welcome its partners and mark a significant milestone in the Group's transformation. Reflecting Arkema's expertise, values, and dedication to corporate social responsibility (CSR), the new offices are designed to enhance both workplace quality of life and collective performance. Covering approximately 25,000 m², Lightwell, Arkema's new headquarters, is designed to be a benchmark not only for workspace but also as a dynamic living environment.

With a modern and collaborative design, it fosters seamless communication and synergy among the Group's teams.

Ideally situated at the heart of the Esplanade de La Défense, Lightwell benefits from excellent public transport connections, enhancing interactions with the Group’s many stakeholders and further strengthening Arkema’s appeal. This new headquarters also highlights Arkema's expertise and materials in terms of performance and sustainability. Notably, eco-friendly paint made from the patented SYNAQUA resin, certified solvent-free and consisting of 97% bio-based molecules, covers nearly all of the interior walls.

The furniture in the atrium features iconic chairs and tables from Maison Gatti, crafted from Arkema's Rilsan material, reflecting the Parisian art of living.

Bostik solutions were extensively used in preparing and installing the flooring and tiles, ensuring both performance and durability. Additionally, the premium coatings from Ideal Work, another Group brand, contribute both aesthetically and functionally to several areas of the building.

Designed with the future in mind, Lightwell is fully powered by renewable energy and is set to achieve HQE Exceptional and BREEAM Excellent certifications, anticipating the energy standards of 2050. Arkema’s innovations will be showcased in a brand-new showroom, “Le Lab,” which provides an immersive, interactive, and ever-evolving experience, available in French, English, and Chinese.

Created to explore the Group's technological trends and innovations in an engaging and educational manner, “Le Lab” offers demonstrations, diverse content, and global accessibility through cutting-edge digital solutions. “This project symbolizes our great ambition, our collective commitment, and our ability to create, for living and working well together while bringing innovative solutions to our customers and partners. This change of location is the result of a team effort driven by passion and the desire to build a modern workplace that meets the highest environmental standards, while reflecting the entrepreneurial and international culture of our Group.
