In November, Asian Paint's step-down subsidiary in the UAE is set to establish its second paint manufacturing facility in Abu Dhabi. The proposed investment is valued at AED 140 million (approximately INR 340 crore).
As per the company’s disclosure, the project will be executed by Berger Paints Emirates Ltd Co (L.L.C), UAE, a step-down subsidiary of Asian Paints International Private Limited, Singapore, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Asian Paints Limited. The new facility will be located within the Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD) in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The upcoming plant will have an initial production capacity of 55,800 kilolitres per annum and will occupy an area of 100,000 square metres. This expansion underscores Asian Paints’ continued commitment to strengthening its international presence and enhancing manufacturing capabilities in the Middle East region.
