BASF has announced a price increase of up to $100 per metric ton for butyl acrylate (BA) and 2-ethylhexyl acrylate (2-EHA) across the Asia-Pacific region. The new prices take effect immediately or as specified in existing contracts.
The adjustment aims to support BASF’s commitment to long-term sustainable operations amid ongoing increases in logistics, energy, and regulatory compliance costs, which continue to impact overall production and supply expenses.
BA and 2-EHA are key raw materials used in various downstream industries, including adhesives, architectural and industrial coatings, and construction materials. BASF remains dedicated to providing reliable supply and maintaining its high standards of quality and service for customers throughout the region.
