Biesterfeld Expands Eastman Product Distribution Across Southern Africa

Biesterfeld has expanded its long-standing partnership with Eastman to strengthen the supply of coatings and inks products across Southern Africa. Through its local business, Aerontec, Biesterfeld is now authorised to distribute Eastman’s coatings and inks portfolio in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, Eswatini, Namibia, Malawi and Botswana.

The product range includes Texanol™, Advantex™, Solus™, Tetrashield™ and Optifilm™, along with cellulose acetate butyrate (CAB), chlorinated polyolefins (CPO), methyl isoamyl ketone (MIAK) and methyl n-amyl ketone (MAK).

The expanded agreement will give regional customers access to Biesterfeld’s formulation expertise, technical support, local presence and warehousing capabilities. Eastman’s products serve a variety of applications, including architectural, automotive and industrial coatings, as well as commercial and packaging inks. Depending on the product, they can be used in paints, automotive clear coats, printing inks and other graphic arts applications.
