FendX Successfully Concludes Pilot Phase of Protective Surface Coating Film in Collaboration with Dunmore
FendX Technologies has announced the successful completion of its pilot manufacturing phase in partnership with Dunmore International. The company is now advancing to test the performance of its REPELWRAP™ film in practical, real-world environments. Specializing in nanotechnology, FendX focuses on developing advanced surface protection coatings.
REPELWRAP™ film is a protective coating designed to prevent pathogens from adhering to surfaces, thanks to its repellent properties. By reducing the likelihood of contamination, it helps minimize the spread of harmful microbes on high-touch surfaces.
Dunmore International Corp. is a leading producer of specialized coated and laminated films and foils, with manufacturing operations in both the U.S. and Germany. The company provides a wide range of film processing services, including coating, metallizing, and laminating, as well as contract manufacturing and the development of custom film products.
Dr. Carolyn Myers, CEO of FendX said, "With the completion of our pilot manufacturing phase of development, we are excited to embark on real-world testing at various announced test sites. This next phase is crucial, as it will provide valuable insights into the film's performance in real-world settings, guiding us towards finalizing the film for ultimate commercial production."
"FendX acknowledges the invaluable collaboration and expertise that Dunmore International Corp. and McMaster University have provided in finalizing the pilot manufacturing phase. Their support has been pivotal in achieving this milestone and we look forward to building off this success."
