Gemini Industries Acquires Industrial Coating Solutions

Gemini Industries, Inc., an employee-owned manufacturer of innovative wood coating solutions, has announced the acquisition of Industrial Coating Solutions (ICS), a Vancouver, Washington-based provider of industrial coating products and services.

Established in 2007, Industrial Coating Solutions (ICS) is a distributor of industrial wood coatings focused on improving the profitability of wood finishing operations. The company is recognised for integrating European coating technologies into large automated finishing lines and was an early adopter of water-based coating systems, which remain a core area of its expertise.

“After nearly 20 years of business, Gemini’s acquisition of ICS is a natural progression,” said Peter Swindler, co-owner of ICS. “This is a fulfilment of two companies aligned with the same mission: customer support.”

Headquartered in El Reno, Oklahoma, Gemini Industries, Inc. has over 60 years of experience in developing wood coating solutions for distributors, professional wood finishers, and consumers. The company offers a comprehensive portfolio of wood finishing products for interior and exterior applications, including solutions for real wood flooring.

The acquisition expands Gemini Industries' operational footprint to eight strategic locations across the United States, strengthening its administrative, distribution, manufacturing, and supply capabilities, particularly in the Pacific Northwest.
