IMCD Expands in the Middle East with New Offices and Technical Centers in Dubai

IMCD Group, a global leader in the distribution and formulation of specialty chemicals and ingredients, has announced the opening of its new offices in Dubai. The facilities feature two state-of-the-art Technical Centers, dedicated to IMCD’s Coatings & Construction and Food & Nutrition Business Groups, catering to customers across the Middle East and Egypt.
The opening ceremony took place in the presence of CEO Valerie Diele-Braun, Regional Managing Director Manuel Baumann, senior executives, partners, and employees, marking a significant milestone in the company’s expansion strategy.
IMCD has experienced remarkable growth in the Middle East and Egypt over the past five years, evolving from a small team of five in 2020 to more than 100 employees across the region in 2025. With professionals based in Dubai, UAE, and additional offices in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and Cairo, Egypt, the company has built a strong presence, delivering expert knowledge and innovative solutions tailored to local market needs.
The newly established Technical Centres in Dubai will serve as innovation hubs, equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and expert teams to develop pioneering concepts and technical solutions. By leveraging IMCD’s comprehensive product portfolio, these facilities will enable closer collaboration with customers, addressing complex formulation challenges and staying ahead of industry trends.
As part of IMCD’s global network of more than 80 Technical Centres, the Dubai facilities will contribute to the company’s broader vision of empowering customers worldwide. Through a combination of local expertise and global reach, IMCD continues to provide industry-leading solutions that help customers succeed in their respective markets.
