Impact Coatings Will Provide PVD Coating Equipment to Boyuan for Fuel Cell Metal Plates
Impact Coatings and Shangdong Boyuan New Energy Technology Development (Boyuan) have signed a non-binding letter of intent. According to the Letter of Intent, Boyuan has chosen Impact Coatings as its key provider of PVD coating equipment. It will be used to manufacture fuel cell bipolar and monopolar plates at Boyuan's manufacturing facilities in China, Mexico, and other locations.
Boyuan specializes in precise forming technology for fuel cell metal plates. Boyuan intends to invest in coating equipment from Impact Coatings for all of its manufacturing facilities, beginning with the one in China. Impact Coatings' Letter of Intent shows its commitment to continue developing coating materials, equipment, and processes. It is intended to address the future market need for cost-effective coatings for metal plates used in fuel cells.
