INX International Ink Co. announced the successful acquisition of Servicom New Zealand Limited, effective immediately. In addition, INX has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Galaxy Inks & Coatings Australia Pty Ltd, with the transaction expected to close by the end of the month, pending customary closing conditions.
Founded in 2004 by Stephen Southon, Servicom New Zealand has earned a strong reputation for innovation and has served as the exclusive distributor of INX products in the country. The company offers high-performance inks for sheetfed offset, UV, heatset, and both two-piece and three-piece metal decorating, along with a full line of aqueous, UV, and metal decorating coatings.
Founded in 1994 by Paul Hidajat and headquartered in Sydney, Galaxy Inks & Coatings Australia is the exclusive distributor of INX products across Australia. The company specializes in high-quality packaging inks and cutting-edge inkjet solutions for digital printing, while also offering a comprehensive range of inks and coatings services, including color matching, supply chain management systems, and technical support.
“These acquisitions represent a significant milestone in our strategy to enhance INX’s market presence and capabilities in Australia and New Zealand,” said Blair Welch, INX Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand. Welch, a 33-year veteran of the printing industry who joined INX last July, added, “With Servicom now fully integrated and Galaxy soon to follow, INX is positioned to streamline operations, enhance customer support, and accelerate growth throughout the region.”
