Speciality chemicals company LANXESS has announced an immediate increase in its prices for adipic acid. The price increase averages EUR 150 per tonne and will apply to customers worldwide.

This decision reflects the ongoing and cumulative increase in costs, including significantly higher expenses for raw materials and energy.

Despite extensive efforts to offset rising costs and maintain price stability, an adjustment has become necessary to ensure the long-term reliability and sustainability of supply.
