PureFive Resin Powers Caps for a Leading Global Spray Paint Brand

PureCycle Technologies, Inc. announced that it has begun initial sales of its PureFive resin for use in producing caps for a leading global paint and coatings company, ranked among the top five in the industry. After successfully passing the company’s testing standards, spray paint cans featuring these caps are now available on store shelves.

PureCycle CEO Dustin Olson said, “The caps and closures market represents a great opportunity for our company. Polypropylene is predominantly used in North America for caps and closures, with more than 300 million pieces produced annually.” Olson added, “This supply partnership with one of the leading paint and coating companies in the world demonstrates that manufacturers can achieve their sustainability goals and meet product performance requirements when they use our PureFive™ resin.”

The company expects to continue supplying PureFive resin to this customer through 2026.
