Sherwin-Williams’ General Industrial Coatings division has announced the opening of a new 20,000-square-foot facility in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The facility enhances the company’s ability to provide high-performance coatings and responsive service to customers of all sizes across central Canada.
This new industrial coatings location represents a strategic investment in a region where harsh winter conditions can make timely support challenging. With dedicated Sales and Technical Service Representatives on-site, Sherwin-Williams can deliver faster turnaround times, improved support, and a wider range of customised solutions to its Canadian customers.
"This expansion puts us right in the heart of central Canada so we can respond faster, minimise downtime and deliver solutions when and where our customers need them. We see so much potential in this region. We’re excited to be part of the community, to support local manufacturers, and to grow alongside local businesses." By Michael Allen
Strategically situated between the company’s existing facilities in Winnipeg and Calgary, the Saskatoon location enhances accessibility, reduces reliance on third-party logistics, and ensures faster turnaround times. The facility is equipped with automated tinting technology to deliver precise colour consistency, underscoring Sherwin-Williams’ commitment to quality, efficiency, and comprehensive customer support.
To celebrate the opening, Sherwin-Williams hosted a grand event for the Saskatoon community. The open house featured behind-the-scenes tours, interactive experiences, and optional Innovation Days educational sessions. Led by Sherwin-Williams experts and industry partners, these sessions highlighted innovative solutions to common finishing challenges, emerging industry developments, and insights into future trends.
