Sun Chemical and Cyngient Announce Strategic Narrow-Web Partnership at LOUPE Americas 2026

Sun Chemical and Cyngient have entered a strategic partnership that combines their expertise in inks, coatings, and adhesives, broadening the range of speciality solutions available to narrow-web label and packaging converters.

The partnership will be officially unveiled at LOUPE Americas 2026, taking place September 15–17 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, near Chicago. Sun Chemical will exhibit at Booth 326, while Cyngient will be at Booth 1101.

The collaboration centres on a new co-branded Sun Chemical/Cyngient speciality product line comprising advanced coatings and high-performance adhesives. The portfolio is tailored for converters seeking superior print quality, distinctive embellishment effects, and dependable on-press performance.

The partnership brings together Sun Chemical’s broad technology portfolio and global R&D expertise with Cyngient’s specialised products, technical assistance, and responsive service for narrow-web converters.

Embellishment technologies will be a central focus of the collaboration as converters and brands seek stronger visual and tactile appeal for labels and packaging. Together, the companies will offer speciality coatings and adhesive solutions that help converters broaden their capabilities while maintaining reliable performance in demanding narrow-web production environments.

The alliance enhances both companies’ ability to assist customers throughout the entire process—from product selection and application development to testing and full-scale commercial production.
