irl

Azelis, a leading worldwide innovation service provider in the specialty chemicals and food ingredients sector, announces the completion of modifications and extension of its Wisconsin facility, resulting in the creation of another industry-leading applications lab for clients and principals in the Americas.

The Wisconsin CASE application lab's wide capabilities will completely service the coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers (CASE) industry, as well as the construction and mortars markets in the United States and Canada.

The enhanced Wisconsin CASE application lab will house Azelis' founders, clients, and internal teams, allowing for tighter technical cooperation and training. The current refurbishment has included more conference space, team offices, and cosmetic upgrades to emphasize the lab's link to the companies it serves. Since their inception in 2010, the Wisconsin laboratories have expanded significantly. As of 2023, Azeliz has almost 10,000 square feet of laboratory space.

The Wisconsin lab has worked to achieve Azelis' ISO certification aspirations while also demonstrating a methodical approach to providing value to stakeholders. Application lab rules are designed to guarantee that safety, compliance, and accountability are prioritized in all of our actions.

Todd Cottrell, Azelis' CEO Americas, says:

“Innovation sits at the heart of Azelis. We strive to have the best lab facilities in the industry staffed with the brightest minds in formulation chemistry. The enhancements and renovations to our Wisconsin application lab adds yet another star to the Azelis constellation of high-quality labs located across the globe.”

Shiona Stewart, Azelis' Managing Director CASE, US, adds:

“Our labs are a key component of our strategic goal: to help customers tap into our lateral value chain, to help solve their formulating challenges, collaborate with principals to understand materials, and innovate to find new applications for materials in our markets. These state of the art labs will also work with customers to develop testing protocols to best highlight the functionality of our formulation concepts.”
