BASF Intermediates raises prices for its Standard Amines portfolio in Europe

BASF is increasing prices for its commodity amines portfolio in Europe by up to 30%, with certain products subject to higher increases, effective immediately or as permitted under existing contracts. The portfolio includes ethanolamines, ethyleneamines, isopropanolamines, methylamines, N,N-dimethylethanolamine (DMEAO), 3-(dimethylamino)propylamine (DMAPA), dimethylformamide (DMF), propylamines, and ethylamines.

These price increases are driven by significant rises in raw material, energy, and logistics costs amid ongoing geopolitical developments in the Middle East.
