Brenntag Acquires Monarch Chemicals, a Distributor of Coating and Ink Ingredients

Brenntag, the global leader in chemicals and ingredients distribution, has announced the acquisition of Monarch Group Holdings Ltd. and its operating subsidiary, Monarch Chemicals Ltd., based in the United Kingdom.

Founded in 1989, Monarch provides professional and dependable distribution services for essential chemicals and blends across the UK. The company supplies a diverse range of industry sectors and product categories, including inorganic chemicals, citrates, and glycols. With multiple sites and blending facilities throughout the UK, Monarch reported annual sales of GBP 35.1 million in 2023.
