Brenntag Specialties Expands its CASE and Construction Innovation & Application Center in Duisburg, Germany

Brenntag, the global leader in chemical and ingredient distribution, has officially opened an expanded extension of its CASE and Construction Innovation & Application Center in Duisburg, Germany, doubling its existing laboratory space. This enhancement strengthens Brenntag's ability to innovate in architectural paints, industrial coatings, adhesives, and construction applications. Customers across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland can now access expanded capabilities.

The advanced Innovation & Application Center provides customers and suppliers with comprehensive technical services, from formulation development and raw material assessment to performance testing across diverse products. New features at the expanded Center include:

• Advanced Curing Techniques: Radiation and heat curing to tailor formulations precisely to specific application needs.

• Enhanced Application and Testing Methods: Addition of screen printing, a digital microscope for detailed surface analysis, and the capability to determine minimum film-forming temperatures for water-based systems.

• Optimized Sample Preparation: A bladeless speed mixer for rapid sample preparation, allowing for swift formulation adjustments and optimizations.
