Indorama Corporation Acquires Venator’s Spain Business Unit

Indorama Corporation, via its indirect subsidiary Indorama Advanced Oxides (Spain) S.L.U., has successfully bought the titanium dioxide (TiO₂) production facility and related assets from Venator P&A Spain in Huelva, Spain.
This milestone represents Indorama Corporation’s strategic entry into the titanium dioxide industry.
Venator Spain is a major producer of titanium dioxide, operating a manufacturing facility in Huelva with a production capacity of 80,000 tonnes per annum. TiO₂, or titanium dioxide, is the world’s most widely used white pigment and is used in applications such as paints, coatings, plastics, paper, and packaging materials.
Commenting on the acquisition, Mr. Amit Lohia, Vice Chairman of Indorama Corporation, said, 'This acquisition aligns with our strategy to build a diversified, high-quality portfolio of essential and advanced materials. The Huelva plant brings deep technical expertise, proven manufacturing capabilities, and strong customer relationships.
