Remmers completes acquisition of Rustins Group to strengthen UK presence

Remmers Gruppe SE, based in Löningen, Germany, has completed its acquisition of the Rustins Group, a long-established British company. The deal strengthens Remmers’ presence in the UK market and expands its product portfolio and distribution network.

Following the acquisition, Remmers aims to build on Rustins’ established market position, long-standing trading relationships and distribution partnerships. By combining their complementary product portfolios and market expertise, both companies expect to reach new customer groups and offer a broader range of products to customers and distribution partners.

Dirk Sieverding, CEO of Remmers Gruppe SE, explains: "We have long been a reliable partner for specialised floor installers and industrial wood processing in the UK. What we lacked there was access to do-it-yourselfers, painters and private customers. Rustins has exactly that – a brand that has been established for over a hundred years, a range of products and distribution through retailers that do not touch our existing UK business, but complement it. That's the reason why Rustins is such a good fit for the Remmers Group."

Following the completion of the transaction, the Rustins Group will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Remmers Group. The deal includes the acquisition of all shares in Rustins Holdings Limited and its operating company, Rustins Limited.
