BASF increases its production capacity for dispersions used in architectural coatings

Türkiye: BASF has commissioned a new production line at its Dilovası site in Türkiye, boosting capacity and broadening the product portfolio to better serve the architectural coatings and construction industries.

The new production line produces low-VOC, low-CO₂ dispersions tailored to local customer requirements and aimed at fostering innovation in the region.

This investment will enhance BASF’s production network and increase supply reliability for customers across Türkiye, the Middle East, and Northwest Africa.

BASF has launched a new production line for dispersions used in architectural coatings and construction materials at its Dilovası facility in Türkiye. This expansion has substantially increased the site’s production capacity, enabling BASF to meet growing demand across Türkiye, the Middle East, and Northwest Africa. It also broadens the regional product portfolio, supporting evolving customer needs and promoting innovation in the market.

The new production line allows BASF to better support the architectural coatings and construction industries by offering low-VOC (volatile organic compound) dispersions that enhance indoor air quality. The Dilovası site has also adopted the Mass Balance approach, enabling the production of dispersions with a lower carbon footprint. Additionally, the entire facility will run on green electricity, underscoring BASF’s commitment to advancing its customers’ green transformation goals.
