Brenntag Expands North American Footprint with Chem Tech Acquisition

Brenntag, the global leader in chemicals and ingredients distribution, has announced the acquisition of Chem Tech Services, Inc., a leading provider of production chemicals with proprietary formulations for energy sector operators in the Permian Basin—the largest energy-producing region in North America. The company will be integrated into Coastal Chemical, Brenntag’s dedicated platform supporting the upstream, midstream, and downstream segments of the oil and gas industry.

Founded in 1980 in Levelland, Texas, ChemTech Services, Inc. delivers specialised oilfield chemical solutions across Texas and New Mexico. Over the past 12 months, the company has generated sales exceeding USD 80 million.
The transaction was signed and closed simultaneously, and the financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed.
