Nippon Paint expands automotive care network with Dehradun studio

Nippon Paint India has expanded its automotive surface protection business with the launch of a new n-SHIELD Studio in Dehradun, strengthening its presence in North India and targeting growing demand for premium vehicle care solutions.

According to the company’s official press release, the new studio will provide Nippon Paint’s full portfolio of automotive protection services, including Paint Protection Film (PPF), ceramic coatings, interior protection, glass protection and vehicle detailing solutions. The facility features dedicated application infrastructure and trained technicians to deliver specialized vehicle surface protection services.

Rakesh Handoo, Director - Beyond Coatings Business Unit, Nippon Paint India, said that the launch is part of the company's strategy to build a nationwide network of premium vehicle protection centres.

"Dehradun is an important market in our growth journey, and this studio reinforces our ambition to make n-SHIELD the preferred choice for discerning vehicle owners across the country," Handoo added.

The company said the new Dehradun facility will serve owners of luxury, premium and mass-market passenger vehicles, offering professional surface protection services across different vehicle segments. All installations will be carried out by certified applicators in accordance with standardized operating procedures and stringent quality controls.

The launch further strengthens n-SHIELD’s network of certified studios, supporting the company’s strategy of making premium automotive surface protection solutions more widely accessible, particularly in emerging markets.
