Surventis Partners with Lola Cars on T70S Paints and Coatings Project

Surventis and Lola Cars have announced a partnership under which Glasurit®, Surventis’ premium refinish paint brand, will become the Official Paints and Coatings Partner for Lola’s T70S programme. The limited-production programme reimagines the iconic T70 race car from the 1960s.

The programme includes 16 vehicles available in two versions: the track-focused T70S and the road-registered T70S GT. The T70S delivers 530 bhp and a top speed of 203 mph, while the T70S GT produces 500 bhp and reaches 200 mph. The GT version retains the original race car’s design and performance characteristics while incorporating modifications to improve everyday usability.

Both models feature Lola’s patent-pending Natural Composite System (LNCS), which combines natural fibres with plant-based resin to create petrochemical-free bodywork materials.

Under the partnership, Surventis will supply Glasurit’s waterborne coating system for composite body components and metal parts. The system includes primers, fillers, basecoats and clear coats and is built around Glasurit® 100 Line, selected for its colour accuracy, premium finish and efficient application.

The collaboration will also include training in advanced application processes and spray technologies designed to reduce material consumption, shorten application times and lower the environmental impact of vehicle production.
