PPG launches the PPG VELOCITY refinish system for U.S. body shops.

PPG has introduced the PPG VELOCITY® refinish system, a new line of solvent-borne products designed for the automotive refinish industry. Developed to support U.S. collision repair shops, the system delivers reliable performance and straightforward application, helping businesses achieve high-quality results while maintaining efficiency and value in today’s fast-paced repair environment.

The system features over 70 toners—including pearls, aluminiums, and xirallics recognised for their vibrant crystal-effect pigments—along with five versatile clearcoats, such as the PPG ONEVISIT™ clearcoat designed to speed up booth cycle times. It also offers a variety of undercoats in multiple grey shades. With quick-drying primers and easy-to-use clearcoats, the system enables technicians to carry out a broad range of repairs with efficiency and confidence.
