BASF Coatings has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Toyota Motor Europe to jointly develop its Body&Paint program.

• The Body&Paint program is built on the highest quality industry standards and sustainable refinish solutions.

• BASF Coatings will offer expertise and paint innovations to support the development of body shop network requirements for Toyota Motor Europe.

• The European body shop network will have access to the premium refinish brands Glasurit® and R-M®.

BASF Coatings and Toyota Motor Europe have entered into an agreement to develop the Toyota Body&Paint program for the European market, laying the groundwork for a long-term strategic partnership between the two companies for the Toyota and Lexus brands. This collaboration leverages BASF’s premium automotive refinish solutions under the Glasurit and R-M brands across Europe. The Toyota Body&Paint program will incorporate BASF’s comprehensive Body Shop BOOST consultancy services and provide access to the cloud-based digital platform Refinity®, which offers advanced colour, business, and training solutions. Through this partnership, BASF supports Toyota in achieving its sustainability goals while maintaining the highest quality standards in paint repairs for Toyota’s premium vehicles.

BASF Coatings will uphold the most sustainable and efficient refinish practices in Europe, emphasising the expansion of business opportunities and strengthening support for the Toyota network, all guided by the principle of continuous improvement.
